Last year the HOT item was colored jeans, this year it is colored cords. You can find them in pretty much any color under the sun and some that should stay hidden behind the clouds. They are fun and add a bit of color to a wardrobe. Be careful when choosing a color that is right for you. Any colors that are bright will draw attention to your lower half (perfect for women that have narrower hips than shoulders). Wear a neutral or a patterned top instead of trying to match the exact color. If you love this trend but want it to be more timeless, buy a pair of cords in a darker color. There are some great dark colors available that are still fun: plum, army green, indigo. Cozy up in a pair of cords and a comfy sweater…perfect for these crisp Fall days.
